I recently purchased a sofa at this branch and just want to let everyone know that they try to force sell extras by tricking you into signing papers by wanting you to make a decision then and there. very rude and bad customer service. I seriously advise not to go through this branch for any sales.
Wont EVER shop there again ! I was a loyal customer of theirs for many years and bought several items from them however my latest purchase was a complete disaster . Bought a fabric sofa set ( 2 sofas ) plus one chair which soon showed EXCESSIVE creasing soon after . Bearing in mind that the lot was a hefty price of 4,700 I expected a much higher level of standard from that fabric. After months of calling them , and them sending 2 representatives ( one said " Theyll NEVER take that back " ) I contacted the Furniture Ombudsman which was a complete joke. Despite photographic evidence they asked me to get an experts opinion which I am now in the process of doing. Seems the Ombudsman is more sympathetic to the Retailer than the customer (there is an article on the internet about that if you goggle it ). DFS wont see me as a paying customer again EVER ! Fast profit but long-term loss !
